Upholstery pricing
Upholstery isn't priced by floor area. In a rate set, tap Set Up Upholstery Rates (new rate sets already have it).
Pieces
Each piece type — Sofa, Loveseat, Sectional, Chair, Recliner, Office Chair, Booth, Theater Seat, and so on — has:
- Priced: per seat, per linear ft, or per piece.
- Rate — for example $50 per seat.
- Typical seats (or length) — filled in on estimates; change it per piece.
- Minimum per piece — optional, for small items like ottomans.
Modifiers
Checked on each piece in an estimate:
- +$ per seat / ft — follows the piece's basis. Loose cushions +$25 per seat makes a 3-seat sofa $225 instead of $150.
- + % — for delicate or natural-fiber fabrics.
- +$ per piece — a flat add.
Percentages apply after the dollar amounts. Rename, add or delete pieces and modifiers to match how you sell. Each piece shows example prices as you type.
