Service plans
A service plan adds recurring cleanings to the proposal: deep clean twice a year, monthly traffic-lane cleaning, and so on. The one-time job prints first, then the plan.
Build one
- Recommend a Plan From Traffic… — answers a few questions and builds the plan for you. See Recommended plans: the traffic survey.
- Build a Plan by Hand — starts with a twice-a-year deep clean of all carpet.
Visit types
Tap a visit to set:
- Name on the proposal.
- Service — HWE, encap, tile…
- Visits a year — 1 (once a year) to 52 (weekly).
- Areas — all areas, heavy-traffic areas, extra-heavy, entry areas, or rooms you pick.
- Each visit also — add-ons done every visit, like fiber protector after each hot-water extraction. Priced on that visit's square footage and included in the per-visit price. The proposal shows it as "Hot Water Extraction + Fiber Protector".
Pricing
Each visit is priced on its own — its service on its areas, travel, and your service minimum per visit — times visits a year. Add a program discount if you offer one.
Billing
- Monthly — the yearly total ÷ 12, the same every month.
- Per visit — billed after each visit.
- Annually, in advance.
The totals bar shows the plan's yearly and monthly price under the one-time total. On the accept page, customers choose the one-time cleaning alone or with the plan.
The first cleaning
The cleaning on this proposal (in the plan, app and web) sets how the job you're quoting fits the plan:
- Full price, then plan pricing (the default for new plans): the cleaning on the proposal is the plan's first visit, at the regular price. Plan pricing starts with the next visit. No discount up front, so nothing is given away if they don't keep going.
- Plan (contract) price from the start: the cleaning on the proposal is the plan's first visit at the plan price. The proposal shows what they save, the accept page charges the plan price when they choose the plan, and the QuickBooks invoice gets a "Plan price on the first …" line.
- Extra, on top of the plan: how plans worked before — the proposal's cleaning plus all of the plan's visits.
With either of the first two, the proposal and accept page say what's left for the rest of the first plan year (the year less that first visit) and the yearly price after that. The first visit is the plan's earliest one from the start month.
