Estimating
Preferred service time
Ask the customer when they'd like the work done and tap it in while you're there.
On the estimate
In the app, Preferred Service Time is on the estimate just above the send checklist. On the office web page it's a card on the estimate. Both have:
- Date — the day they'd like (optional).
- Time — tap one: Morning (8–11 am), Midday (11 am–1 pm), Afternoon (1–4 pm), Evening (4–8 pm), Late Night (after 8 pm), Specific Time and pick the time, or Type It In for their own words — "Evenings", "Friday afternoons". A date is optional with any of them.
- Note — anything else, like "after the store closes" or "not on Fridays".
Tap the selected button again to clear it.
Where it shows up
- Proposal — a short Service Date & Time paragraph, e.g. "We've noted your preferred service time: Friday afternoons. We'll confirm the exact arrival time with you before the day…" It's only on proposals that have a preferred date or time. The web's Send email adds the same paragraph to the message.
- Sent estimate (office web page) — the estimate's page shows "Preferred service time: …" next to the customer's reply. It's for your team; it isn't printed on the proposal.
- ZRWare booking sheet — a Customer prefers line with a copy button, next to the appointment date.
- Schedule Cleaning — the start date and time are filled in from it (the window's start time: 8 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, 8 pm, or the specific time). You can still change them.
The note stays with your team; it's not printed on the proposal.
Changing the wording
Settings → Company Profile & Proposals → Proposal Wording → Service date & time. [preferred time] becomes the whole phrase ("Tuesday, October 14, in the morning (8–11 am)" or what you typed); [service date] and [service time] give the parts; [first name] works too.
It's a preference, not a booking — nothing is reserved until you schedule it.
