Same place, different customers (new owners, tenants, builders)

Office web page. For owners, admins, estimators and office staff.

A house you cleaned for a builder sells to a new owner. A tenant moves out and a new one moves in. A landlord and a tenant both use you. Preflight can link them as the same place.

What's shared, and what isn't

• Shared at the place (your team only): rooms and measurements, floor plans, photos of the space, and the dates and services done there.
• Stays with each customer: prices, estimates, invoices, contacts, entry codes, lockbox, alarm and access notes.
• Customers never see each other. Proposals and online booking only show a customer their own work.

Linking

• New Customer: if the address matches one you already have, Preflight shows We've been at this address. Check This is a new customer at the same place, and pick who they are (Owner, Tenant, Property manager) and who the other was (Builder, Owner…). Leave …is done there checked to archive the old one, marked Sold → new owner or Moved out.
• Customer page: a customer at the same address shows a This Place folder asking The same place? For a unit or a suite typed differently, use Same place as another customer… under Contact Info and search.

On the customer page

This Place lists the others at the place, their role, when they left, what was done there (no prices), their rooms and floor plans, and their photos.

• Copy rooms & floor plans here copies the measurements to this customer, so you can quote without measuring again. Each customer keeps their own copy; room notes don't carry over.
• Not the same place — unlink separates them. Nothing is deleted.
