The customer map and Near Me
On the office web page, Map at the top shows your customers and leads as pins. Use it to plan a day's estimates, fill a gap near a job you're already doing, or see where your work comes from.
Reading the map
- Teal pins are commercial customers, blue are residential, orange are leads (leads show only for people who can see leads).
- Tap a pin for the name and address, Open customer (or Open lead), and Directions.
- Use the two menus to show customers, leads or both, and commercial, residential or all types.
Near Me
Tap Near Me and allow your location when the browser asks. The map centers on you and lists the closest customers and leads with their distance in miles. Your location is used on your screen only; it isn't saved.
If the browser says location is blocked, turn it back on for the site in the browser's settings.
Where the pins come from
Each customer's and lead's site address is looked up automatically when it's added or changed, so new ones appear on their own.
Older records saved before the map existed may not have a location yet. Owners and admins see Find Missing Locations under the map — press it to look them up (about a second each; if there are many, it does a batch and tells you to press again). Any address that can't be found is listed so you can fix the spelling.
