Schedule future cleanings
When a customer signs up for regular cleanings, set the appointments up all at once instead of one by one.
Where
On the office web page:
- the customer page → Appointments → Schedule Future Cleanings,
- an accepted estimate → Schedule Future Cleanings,
- the estimate (when it has a service plan) next to Schedule Cleaning.
How the dates are made
- First cleaning — starts from the estimate's preferred service time, or the cleaning you already scheduled.
- From the service plan — each visit in its months, for 1 or 2 years. If the proposal's cleaning is the plan's first visit (Service Plan → "The cleaning on this proposal"), the plan starts with it; if it's an extra cleaning, the plan's visits follow it.
- Repeat on a schedule — for customers without a plan: so many visits, every so many weeks or months.
- Keep the same day of the week — later visits land on the nearest same weekday (a Friday customer stays on Fridays).
Before you schedule
Every visit is a row: change its date, time or length, untick one to leave it off, ✕ to remove it, or + Add a Visit. A day that already has an appointment for this customer is flagged and starts unticked.
Pick who's going, the contact and the address once for all of them, then Schedule All.
Invites
Each visit is its own appointment, so each one sends its own calendar invite (the count shows next to the checkbox). For a long list, you may want to untick Email the customer and send them the dates yourself.
The visits show in the app's schedule and the calendar links like any other appointment; change or cancel any one of them on its own.
