Air duct and dryer vent cleaning
Rates
In a rate set, Walls, Counters, Fixtures & Air Ducts → Add suggested air duct rates: supply vent (floor), supply vent (ceiling / wall), return, furnace / air handler (FAU), dryer vent, high or hard access, antimicrobial treatment, air filter, in-duct air purifier — each priced each. They're starting points; set your own.
Do ducts for homes only? Keep the rates on your home rate set. Do commercial ducts too? Add them to the business rate set as well (or check We do commercial duct work too in Settings → What You Do).
Count vents while you measure
LiDAR scans don't pick up vents, so count them in the room:
- App: in a room's measurements, Add Measurement → Air Duct Vents and pick the type (floor vent, ceiling vent, return, FAU, dryer vent), then set the count.
- Web: on the room, + Air Duct Vents, then pick the type and type the count.
On the estimate
Walls, counters, fixtures & vents from rooms turns the counts into lines (count × rate). + Air Duct Work adds the rest: high or hard access (tall ladders, roofs), antimicrobial treatment, filters and in-duct air purifiers.
