Measuring & Field Work
Time on the job — Start and Finish
For techs
- Open the job (Jobs tab, or the customer → Crew Job Sheets).
- Tap Start Job when you begin working, and Finish when you're done.
- Crew lead: Start a Crew Member… starts someone else's time (your name is recorded with it). Anyone's running time can be finished from the job sheet.
Times come from the server's clock (not the phone's), and the phone notes where you were when you started and finished. Nobody can back-date a time; only owners and admins can fix one, and a fixed entry is marked.
For owners
On the office web page, Results → Labor shows each job's crew hours next to its size and price:
- Sq ft per crew-hour and minutes per 1,000 sq ft — how fast your crews really work, by job.
- Labor cost and labor % of the price — enter your loaded labor cost per crew-hour (wage + payroll taxes + benefits). Only owners and admins see dollars.
- Open a crew member's entry under a job to fix a time someone forgot to stop.
Use it to check your rates: the price per sq ft should cover labor at your real pace, plus supplies, travel, overhead and margin.
