Counting chairs and theater seats
Open the customer → Seating → Count Seating. Name the area (Chapel, Room 104) and pick the kind: chairs, theater / stadium seats, pews / benches, booths or other.
Tap with Camera
- Tap Start Counting and move the phone slowly until it sees the room.
- Tap each seat on the screen. An orange dot stays on that seat in the room, so you can walk around without counting anything twice.
- Tapped the wrong spot? Tap the dot again to take it off, or tap Undo.
- Tap Done. The total fills in, and you can type over it if you missed a few.
Rows × Seats
For theater seating and anything in rows: Rows × Seats, then add a section for each block (for example 14 rows × 22 seats, plus 6 rows × 18 in the balcony). The total adds up as you go.
Pews and booths
Pews, benches and booths are priced by the linear foot, so count them as pews × feet each (for example 24 pews × 16 ft), or type the total feet.
On the estimate
In the estimate's Upholstery section, tap Add Counted Seating and pick the count. It becomes an upholstery line using your rate set's matching item (theater seat, chair, pew…), per seat, per piece or per foot. Change the item or add options (protector, heavy soil) by tapping the line.
