Crew marks — hose routes, entrances, cones, signs and hazards

Crew marks are notes on the floor plan for whoever does the job. They show on the crew's job sheet and floor plans, and never on the customer's proposal.

MarkUse it for
Hose RouteThe path from the truck to the work area. The app adds up the length, so the crew knows how much hose to bring.
EntranceThe door the crew should use ("Side door B — buzz the office").
Truck Parking, Water, PowerWhere to park, the water hookup, an outlet or panel the crew can use.
Safety ConeDoorways, hose crossings, wet areas people walk through.
Wet Floor / Notice SignEntrances and public halls where people need a warning.
Trip HazardHose or cord crossings, raised thresholds, rugs.
Slip HazardWet tile, ramps, freshly cleaned hard floors.
CautionAnything else ("Alarm panel — code from the office", "Fragile displays").

In the app

  1. Open the customer → Floor Plans & Maps → a plan.
  2. Tap Crew Marks (pin icon) at the top.
  3. Pick a mark under the plan, then tap the plan where it goes. For a hose route, tap where the hose starts (the truck), then along the route, then Done.
  4. Tap any mark to add a label and a note, change it, or delete it.

Marks stay with their room, so if you move rooms in Arrange Rooms, the marks move too, and they show on every plan that has that room.

On the office web page

Open the customer's floor plan, pick Add … next to Crew marks, and click the plan. Click a mark to label it, add a note or delete it.

Notes for the whole site

On the customer (Edit Customer → For the Crew), add a Hose route note ("Back service door, about 150 ft") and Safety & cautions ("Patients in the lobby all day — cone the hose at the door"). Both show at the top of the job sheet with the marks.
